This knock by Jurel was not just a mere century, it was a knock at the selectors' doors too.
Over the last few months, Jurel has managed to prove himself to a great extent for the India A team. He had also scored centuries against South Africa A and Australia A, as he now grabbed his third ton while leading India A.
Our Take
Dhruv Jurel is shining pretty well for the India A team in the series against Sri Lanka A. And the selectors will be keeping a close eye on this series and at Jurel himself, noting that India will be going against Sri Lanka in the coming months in a two match Test series.
