Twitter Reacts as Chepauk Turns Emotional During Dhonis Goodbye Moment
The Yellow Army finally got to see MS Dhoni on the field yesterday. Even though he was not playing the match against SRH, he walked out after the game ended to bid a good bye to the fans. CSK has now finished all its games at its home-ground, as it prepares for the virtual knockout clash.

Chennai Super Kings have now played all of their home games, and for the first time in a long time, the team didn't have MS Dhoni play any of the games at their home venue. This was a disappointing moment for the fans, as what started as a two weeks rest, turned out to be missing out on almost the entire tournament.
Even yesterday, fans had high hopes that they would be able to see MS Dhoni play for the team. But that didn't happen. However, it should be noted that Dhoni was present at the venue, and he even came out in the innings break and after the game. Fans were delighted to watch him on the field, even though he was not playing.
He came out in front of the crowd and made the day for the fans. Noting that it was the last home game at Chepauk, he even bid a good bye to the fans. It is still not confirmed whether he will be playing for the team in the upcoming season or not.
Here's how fans on Twitter have reacted to Thala’s good bye to Chepauk.

Another moment which the fans loved in the last game was watching Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni together. This is the duo which helped CSK to win multiple trophies together.
Fairy Tale Ending
He should’ve retired after winning the trophy in 2023. That was the most fairy tale ending.

A Twitter user even argued by saying that MS Dhoni should have retired after winning the title in 2023. That would have been the fairy tale ending for him.

A Twitter user literally said that Dhoni has been giving a good bye to the fans for every season since 2020. It remains to be seen whether fans will see another good bye next year or not.
Makes Sense
He is not retiring yet. He previously said his last game should be at Chepauk, but he didn't play today...

That means he will definitely play next season! 🥹✨

MS Dhoni had said that he will play his last game at Chepauk. But that didn't happen, as he didn't play the match against SRH. So, we could see him play in the next season.
