Arsenal got the better of Premier League champions Chelsea 2-1 in a thrilling FA Cup final to deny the Blues their second title of the season yesterday. Aaron Ramsey headed home in the 79th-minute to seize the Cup for the team who were battling a 10-men Chelsea towards the end of the game.
The match began with both the teams attacking each other's goal until Arsenal took the lead in a controversial fashion through Alexis Sanchez in the fourth minute of the game. Sanchez tapped the ball in the bottom right corner past Thibaut Courtois which was first disallowed by the linesman but later the decision was overturned by referee Anthony Taylor which resulted in Arsenal taking the lead over Chelsea.
The Gunners kept pressurising the Chelsea goal but failed to get past the Blues defence and ended the half with a one-goal lead.

The record seventh win for Arsene Wenger might result in the extension of the 67-year-old's contract which was in jeopardy after Arsenal finished fifth in the League and crashed out of the Champions League round of 16 for the seventh consecutive time.
