A late Raheem Sterling winner helped Manchester City register an 11th successive away victory in all competitions, as the Premier League leaders claimed a 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town. City dominated the first half completely and looked particularly threatening when David Silva got himself on the ball as the Spaniard crafted numerous chances of his own. While City wasted most of the opportunities that came their way, the hosts took the lead just before the break thanks to a Nicolas Otamendi own goal. However, Sergio Aguero converted a penalty after the restart to level things up in the 47th minutes of the game. Huddersfield were stoic in the second half and didn’t allow the City forwards to dominate them, but Sterling saved his team from blushes by hitting a winner to guide City to their 11th consecutive away win.
