Alexis Sanchez’s late penalty helped Arsenal secure a 1-0 win over Burnley while a late Raheem Sterling winner against Huddersfield secured Manchester City their 11th successive away victory in all competitions. With the victories, Arsenal moved to the fourth position while City remained at the top.

Burnley 0 - 1 Arsenal

Arsene Wenger's side were missing playmaker Mesut Ozil, who was out through illness, and his absence clearly showed, as the Gunners failed to make any impact to break the Burnley defense. The first significant goal-scoring opportunity came when Alexandre Lacazette attacked down the left and squared for Ramsey, whose first-time shot sailed over the goal. On the other hand, the hosts created a number of chances to put one goal past the Gunners. However, both the teams remained unsuccessful in doing the same until the game entered the injury-time when Sanchez's controversial late penalty earned Arsenal a 1-0 victory. It was a repeat of last season's meeting between the sides at the Emirates Stadium when Chilean Sanchez slotted in a 98th-minute spot-kick to win the game for the Gunners. The win took Arsenal up to the fourth spot on the table ahead of north London rivals Tottenham, who drew 1-1 against West Brom on Saturday while Burnley remained at the seventh position.

Huddersfield Town 1 - 2 Manchester City

A late Raheem Sterling winner helped Manchester City register an 11th successive away victory in all competitions, as the Premier League leaders claimed a 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town. City dominated the first half completely and looked particularly threatening when David Silva got himself on the ball as the Spaniard crafted numerous chances of his own. While City wasted most of the opportunities that came their way, the hosts took the lead just before the break thanks to a Nicolas Otamendi own goal. However, Sergio Aguero converted a penalty after the restart to level things up in the 47th minutes of the game. Huddersfield were stoic in the second half and didn’t allow the City forwards to dominate them, but Sterling saved his team from blushes by hitting a winner to guide City to their 11th consecutive away win.
