With the summer transfer window now officially shut for the Premier League, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he’s overjoyed at their transfer business. The Red Devils brought in three new additions including record breaking star Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

With the window now officially done and dusted, Premier League clubs can now focus their attentions on the season and selling a few more players. The season kicks off with Liverpool playing Norwich City on Friday, but the biggest game of the weekend is Manchester United against their bitter rivals Chelsea.

Both sides have had interesting transfer windows albeit the Red Devils have had the better one and Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he’s overjoyed. The club brought in Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James this summer for a combined fee of around £140 million.

But with fans unhappy and demanding more additions, Solskjaer has brushed aside any rumors that he is not happy with his squad. "Do you know I think when the transfer window closes it's a great feeling of relief now it's done now we know we're looking forward and I'm delighted with the three we've signed.

It’s not about a quick fix. It’s a long rebuild and about the right people coming. When you haven't got the right ones or the correct answers from the players you wanted or if there is doubt, most of the time there's no doubt. You’d rather trust the ones we have.”
