Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has pulled out of the club’s trip to Munich for a pre-season tournament with his move to China collapsing. The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away, and was in China ahead of a move to the Chinese Super League, which collapsed at the last minute.

With Zinedine Zidane publicly revealing that he has no intentions of keeping Gareth Bale at the club, the Real Madrid superstar was heavily linked with a move away. But his incredibly high wages have seen most European sides baulk at any move, before Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning stepped in.

However, with the Chinese Super League side getting Bale for free, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez stepped in and put a halt to any move. The Los Blancos president wanted a transfer fee for the 30-year-old, something that Jiangsu Suning didn't want to pay. That has left the Welshman’s life in limbo, as he has no future at either Real Madrid or can see no possible way out.

This has been further compounded by the fact that the BBC has reported that Bale has pulled out of Real Madrid’s preseason squad. The 30-year-old was included for the trip to Munich after a serious injury ruled out Marco Asensio for the 2019/20 season but has withdrawn from said trip. The report further adds that the former Tottenham man asked not to be picked because he is “not in the right mental state”.

Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has added fuel to the fire by going on to say “It’s simple, Zidane doesn’t like Gareth. There’s no relationship between them. There never has been.”
