Arsenal superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that the club needs to make sure they win games at home and added that he will lead the fight for the club. The North Londoners have struggled to put their best foot forward and it’s one of the many reasons why the club sit in seventh place.

Arsenal needed a stoppage-time Alexandre Lacazette equaliser to walk away with a 2-2 draw at home against Southampton with the away dominating the game. It’s not the performance anybody expected against a Saints team struggling to make their mark and it’s why Unai Emery is under immense pressure. The Spaniard has been given time to turn things around but with just two wins in their last eleven Premier League games time is running out.

It has caused a few problems for the club and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went on to admit that he will do everything in his power to try and help the club get back to winning ways. The former Borussia Dortmund striker also added that everybody has to give everything and the players will keep fighting till the very end to make sure Arsenal are where they need to be in the league table.

“Everybody is disappointed today, the fans and the players. It didn’t work today. It’s not a good result for us. Obviously we’re playing at home and we have to win games at home. We have to keep fighting and keep trying to sort it out. I think everybody has to try to ask themselves what they can change, what they can give more of. Everybody has to do this, me first. I will try to work hard and to get back to winning ways,” he said reported the Independent

The home side ended the game with another draw to their name and it takes their tally to five games without a win in all competitions and it’s why they sit seventh in the league table. That combined with immense pressure on Unai Emery saw the players walk off the field with a chorus of boos ringing around the Emirates Stadium and Aubameyang went on to admit that the players were just as frustrated.

“I don’t know but obviously everyone is disappointed, the fans and us as well. When we are playing, we are the first to be disappointed when it doesn’t work. We will try to keep fighting. I think we have the quality to come back and we have to fight,” he added.
