Mario Mandzukic and Callum Wilson are high among Manchester United’s list of targets for the January window. The Red Devils have found themselves short of attacking options and their situation has been made worse with both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez leaving the club without being replaced.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already admitted that the club will look to sign a new goalscorer in the winter window, as Manchester United eye offensive reinforcements. The club has found themselves short of attacking options over the last few weeks, with injuries to Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial playing a big part in that. This has seen the Norwegian admit that the club will look to add reinforcements but only if the player is right for the club.

It’s seen them linked with a myriad of players but Sky Sports reports that Mario Mandzukic and Callum Wilson top their list. The Croatian striker has been previously linked with a move to Manchester United, even turning down a move in the summer, but will be made available again when the window opens. However, with PSG and a club from Qatar keen on a move, it does complicate things for the Red Devils.

Callum Wilson, on the other hand, has a little over three years left on his current deal with Bournemouth and has had an impressive start to his Premier League season. So far the Englishman has scored five goals in seven Premier League starts, with a goal involvement in every game so far. This has seen him linked with a move again with Chelsea and Manchester United considering moves last season.

No move ever materialized last term and even at the age of 27, Wilson would fit Manchester United’s new policy of trying to bring in the best English talent into the club.
