Barcelona have joined the race along with Arsenal and Everton to sign highly-rated striker Donyell Malen from PSV Eindhoven. Malen continues to impress as he played a key role for the Netherlands against Northern Ireland and PSV are willing let him leave for a fee in excess of £50 million.

La Liga giants Barcelona are keen to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen reports Daily Mail and are preparing to launch an offer for the player in the bracket of £50 million. The La Liga Champions are keen on attacking recruitments as Luis Suarez reaches the twilight of his career and are looking to bring in the future. The report also suggests that the La Liga giants will be looking for prospects that are in the age group of 20 to 26, with a vision for the future firmly in mind.

Luis Suarez is reaching towards an end of his career forcing Barcelona to look for viable attacking options with Antoine Griezmann only seen as a stop gap solution the Daily Mail further adds. Donyell Malen is just 20 and has shown signs of immense potential, fits the bill and has the potential to develop into a world-class forward. The former Arsenal man has already scored 14 goals for PSV out of which 10 have come in the Eredivisie. Apart from Barcelona, Arsenal remains keen on re-signing the player who was once playing within their youth system.

Malen left Arsenal two years back for a mere fee of £200,000. He joined the Gunners in 2015 from PSV's rivals Ajax and became a regular in Arsenal’s youth team scoring 27 goals in 67 matches. Malen is one of the hottest and most wanted properties in the market and with January transfer window approaching, Malen could soon be seen leaving Eindhoven in search of better opportunities.
