Reports | Arsenal looking sign Dani Ceballos permanently for £26million
After a superb start to his Premier League career, Arsenal are looking to sign Dani Ceballos permanently with a fee of around £26million being quoted. The Spaniard is currently on loan from Real Madrid but has been considering a permanent move to North London with the club keen on the move as well.
Despite signing Dani Ceballos in the summer on a season-long loan deal, the Mirror has reported that Arsenal are looking to make the move for the Spaniard permanent before the start of the 2020 summer window. The 23-year-old has hit the ground brilliantly in England and has slowly become a key part of Unai Emery’s team with no Arsenal player assisting more goals than Ceballos.
The Mirror has further added that the Gunners have already offered £26million for the midfielder but are still well short of what Real Madrid believe the former Real Betis man is worth. They value the 23-year-old around the £30 million-mark and that has caused a few problems between Arsenal and Real Madrid. But with Ceballos reportedly speaking to Florentino Perez to consider letting him go and reports indicate that the Los Blancos president might consider the possibility.
The 23-year-old even went on air and revealed how much he’s enjoyed his time at Arsenal and even admitted that he’s happy in North London. Ceballos later re-iterated that he only wants to play football and would be willing to do that wherever a team gives him a chance. However, having brought in the midfielder for around £14 million, Rea Madrid want no less than £30 million to help them make a profit and cover the wages he has been paid.
