Henrikh Mkhitaryan is unsure as to where his long-term future lies, following his temporary move to Italy. The 30-year-old struggled to establish himself under Unai Emery, making just 29 league starts for the club and the arrival of Nicolas Pepe has pushed Mkhitaryan to the fringes of the team.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s swap with Alexis Sanchez, a little over 19 months ago, is now considered to be the worst swap deal in the history of swap deals, with both clubs failing to get the best out of either player. While Manchester United have been bogged down by Sanchez’s wage bill, Mkhitaryan’s lacklustre performances for most of his Arsenal career have caused a lot of problems for the Gunners.

However, now with Sanchez at Inter Milan on a short-term loan spell, it doesn’t look like the 30-year-old will be back at Old Trafford. But with Mkhitaryan also joining AS Roma on the European deadline day, the former Borussia Dortmund star is far from sure about his long-term future. He even went on to say the same in an interview with VBET News, adding that he believes he can do a lot with Roma.

"Let's first see what I can do in Roma and at the end of the season I think we can talk if I will have the possibility to stay or to go to something else, I don't know. Now, I cannot say about future, it's better to be focused on the next games. I'm ready to play in every position and I'm ready to help the team because the club is great. The team is a very good team and I'm going to try and do my best to help the team to achieve," the midfielder told reporters, via VBET News.
