Lee Kang-in, 24, is attracting strong Premier League interest as his role at PSG diminishes. Signed for €20M in 2023, he’s now linked to clubs like Man United, Arsenal, and Crystal Palace. Despite PSG initial high regard, limited playtime has fueled exit talks, with Saudi clubs also showing interest in the talented midfielder.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Lee Kang-in appears set to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) amid declining game time under manager Luis Enrique. Since joining PSG from Mallorca for €20 million in July 2023, the 24-year-old South Korean has impressed with his technique and versatility but has failed to cement a regular spot in the starting XI. With the arrivals of players like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, and João Neves, Lee has been relegated to a rotation role and overlooked during key Champions League matches.
Now, Premier League clubs are circling. Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Tottenham are all reportedly interested in acquiring him, with United showing serious intent. Reports suggest that manager Ruben Amorim sees Lee as a strong fit for his system, especially with Eriksen and Casemiro possibly departing and Mason Mount frequently injured. Beyond England, Saudi clubs are also keen, offering lucrative deals to PSG and Lee.
Foot 01 and journalist Matteo Moretto confirm that Lee's agent, Javier Garrido, has been in active discussions with English clubs. PSG may cash in this summer, aiming to profit on their €20 million investment as Lee seeks more consistent opportunities elsewhere to reignite his career.
