WATCH : Comedy of errors leaves both sides embarassed
The first match of the IPL between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore saw the first hilarious mixup of the season where Moises Henriques and Kedar Jadhav were left red faced after a fielding gaffe. Henriques, who was lucky to survive the run-out score, ended up scoring a 50 for SRH.
The incident occurred in the 4th over when Yuzvendra Chahal was brought on by the RCB skipper Shane Watson to put pressure on Dhawan and Henriques after the dismissal of David Warner. Henriques punched the ball off the back foot towards deep long off and ran the first one hard in the hopes of getting a double. After some confusion, Dhawan decided to send Henriques back but the Australian was halfway down the track.
The second error came from Sreenath Aravind who threw the ball to the striker's end when the other side would have been the better option. However, even when Kedar Jadhav collected the ball, he would have seen Henriques turn around to save his wicket. It was all
Sunrisers eventually finished the innings with a score of 207/4 thanks to fifties from Henriques and Yuvraj Singh.
