Virender Sehwag and Manoj Tiwary have hit back at former Pakistan wicketkeeper- captain Rashid Latif for his offensive comments in a video. Latif had earlier insulted Sehwag through a video which he posted on social media after India’s loss to Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy.

India beat Pakistan by 124 runs in their first Group B match at Edgbaston on June 4, in celebration of the win, Sehwag posted the following message on Twitter to congratulate Virat Kohli and his team:

However, the tweet did not go down well with former Pakistan skipper and wicketkeeper Rashid Latif. And Latif took the opportunity to hit back at Sehwag for the same after India suffered a crushing seven-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in their second game on Thursday. The 49-year old unleashed a tirade against Sehwag in a video that went viral on social media and was also streamed on Pakistani news channel Siasi Central. You can watch the video here:

In response, although Sehwag is known for his otherwise expressive nature, he chose to play down the incident with the following tweet:

But Manoj Tiwary came out in vocal support of the former Indian opener and posted a video where he blasted Latif for his comments on Sehwag. The Bengal batsman labelled Latif's comments as a claim to his long lost fame. You can watch Tiwary's response to Latif here:
