The BCCI has revealed that Yuvraj Singh is recovering well from the bout of illness and is all set to rejoin the Indian team. According to reports, Yuvraj was expected to recover in a day’s time and the BCCI have tweeted an update on their star batsman, which shows he’s well on his way back.

Yuvraj Singh has been a notable absentee from India’s Champions Trophy preparations. However, even that problem seems to have been sorted now with a BCCI official saying, “There are no major health concerns and Yuvraj is recuperating well, to the satisfaction of the medical team.”

But according to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, Yuvraj was expected to recover in a day’s time and going by the BCCI’s tweet update, that is certainly the case. Yuvraj's return is certain to add even more depth to the Indian lineup, owing to his abilities with the bat and ball alike.

If Yuvraj doesn’t recover in time for India’s warm-up game against Bangladesh today, Dinesh Karthik might continue to feature for India. This would also mean that MS Dhoni could bat higher up the order while Karthik will be asked to play the role of the finisher.

Though this might seem like a role reversal of sorts, Karthik did bat lower down the order on a couple of occasions for the Gujarat Lions in the IPL.
