India vs Australia | Steve Smith suffers shoulder injury during practice ahead of first T20I
Australia faced an injury scare after skipper Steven Smith had reportedly sustained a shoulder injury during the practice session in Ranchi on Thursday ahead of their first T20I against India. However, doctors declared him fit soon after the analysis and he should play in the first game on Saturday.
Australian cricket team suffered a massive scare when their skipper sustained a minor shoulder injury during the practice session in Ranchi. The 28-year-old was then taken to a local private hospital for the check-up, where he underwent an MRI scan. After the reports, doctors declared him fit for the game on October 7.
The Aussies have faced a lot of criticism following their performance in the recently concluded ODI series against India where they managed to win only one game in five. Leading from the front, Smith has failed to set an example for his team so far.
He has scored only 142 runs in five ODIs and will surely be looking to make amends in the upcoming T20 series of three games. The second and third T20I match will be played in Guwahati and Hyderabad on October 10 and 13 respectively.
