Since the last two days of Adelaide Test, Rishabh Pant has been a spectacle behind the stumps thanks to the continuous sledging that he has been doing. Today, Fox paid a tribute to him as they stopped their commentary for an over so as to allow people listen to Pantās one-liners behind the stumps.
The Australian way of mental disintegration was a hugely successful formula and gave them immense success in the late 90s and early 2000s. He even used an Australian accent to irritate Cummins. Commentators were clearly enjoying his antics as the production unit decided to stop commentary for the entire over and used a ticker asking the viewers to rather listen to the stump mic.Ā
