Reports | England women’s cricket team to tour India next month

The England women’s cricket team is scheduled to travel to India during February-March in order to play three ODI’s and three T20I’s as per recent reports. This will be the second time that the English team travel to India in the last 12 months having last visited the country in March 2018.

As per recent reports from PTI sources, The England women’s cricket team are scheduled to tour India in the coming months for three One Day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals. This will be the English team’s second visit to the Indian sub-continent in the last 12 months having last traveled to India in March 2018 for the tri-series which also involved the Australian women’s team.

The three ODIs are set to played in Mumbai on February 22, February 25 and February, while the T20Is will be conducted in Guwahati from March 9 onwards. The Points earned from the respective ODIs will be added to the ICC Women’s Championship in the second cycle.

The two team’s last met each other in the World T20 semi-final in November, where Harmanpreet Kaur-led India succumbed to a defeat. The reigning world champions ended up as runners-up in the tri-series last year behind Australia.
