ICC World Cup 2019 | Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh indulge in healthy Twitter banter over Rohit Sharma century
Kevin Pietersen, who has stirred many people in the past with his tweets, has never been shy of expressing himself. Today, he indulged in some Twitter banter with Yuvraj Singh, making a callback to their infamous incident in 2008 where KP called Yuvraj a 'pie-chucker who bowls filth'.
As Rohit Sharma notched up his fourth century of this World Cup, wishes started to pour in for the 32-year-old Mumbai batsman, from fans and former Cricketers alike, for his extraordinary accomplishment. One such Cricketer was Yuvraj Singh, who took to Twitter to congratulate Rohit for his knock, stating that he was moving closer to the "Man of the Series (MOS)" trophy.
And @ImRo45 walks closer to the Icc mos trophy 🏆 👊🏽🕺🏼 #hitman you beauty 💯 no 4 ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 well played champion !!!

However, Kevin Pietersen chipped in with a response of his own for the tweet, saying that Rohit will not win the Man of the Series award in case England win the World Cup. In his response, Pietersen referred to Yuvraj as a "Pie-Chucker".
Not if England wins the WC, Pie-Chucker!

But as always, Yuvi did not back down and responded to Pietersen with a cheeky response of his own. In his reply, Yuvraj took a sly dig at England, asking them to "qualify first" before thinking about winning.
Let’s qualify first and then talk about wining 😅 and I’m talking about mos trophy not winning !

Pietersen finally ended the conversation with a witty sarcastic reply of his own, claiming that he was sure that India would qualify.
I’m sure India will qualify mate!
