While DRS has been under scanner after ball tracking went wrong in the last ODI, Indian players were left speechless after a DRS decision went against their favour. A Kedar Jadhav delivery saw outrageous turn on DRS appeal, which left the Indian players and commentators in deep shock.

After Peter Handscomb and Usman Khawaja found their feet in the middle and almost negated all Indian bowlers to form a solid partnership, India were in search of that one opportunity which would swing the momentum in their favour. They invariably turned to Kedar Jadhav, their partnership-breaker extraordinaire, who almost sent Khawaja back to the pavilion.

On the third ball of the 31st over, Jadhav landed a delivery on the full-length area and considering the fact that it was not a normal slingy one, he appealed very loudly after the ball had hit Khawaja on his pads. The umpire first seemed hesitant for the wicket but after seeing the audacity of Jadhav’s appeal, he raised his finger to signal Khawaja out.

However, the Aussie was not convinced by that and he decided to go upstairs after having a mini-discussion with Handscomb. India though were confident that it couldn’t have gone any other way and was celebrating the dismissal. But what came on the big screen not only surprised them but also put them into deep shock.

The ball, after landing on the middle and leg, had taken an outrageous turn off the wicket and the ball tracking showed that it missed the leg-stump by a long way. Seeing that, no one could believe it and everyone seemed to have been going through a deep shock. While an unconvinced Kohli was seen having a discussion with Kumar Dharmasena and letting him know about his doubts, Jadhav was still finding a way to tackle the situation.
