Adversities can often attract desperate moves to fetch the desired result. Jasprit Bumrah had a similar body language while conversing with the onfield umpire after consecutive power outages at the Adelaide Oval during Australia’s second innings on the opening day’s third session.

India’s ploy to go with the usual norm of batting first in pink ball Tests at the Adelaide Oval didn’t quite pay dividends. Mitchell Starc blew hot with the pink cherry and broke through the visitors' batting order with a six-fer.  Eyeing to replicate a similar act, Jasprit Bumrah seemed lethal with the new hard rock, getting the better of Usman Khawaja in his hard-toiled first spell.

Harshit Rana was brought in as a first change replacing Mohammed Siraj and unfamiliar things took place during his spell. Following a couple of short stuff to McSweeney in the 18th over, the lights conked off at the venue, causing a stop in play. Two balls later, the lights went off for a second time on the day and caught Harshit unpleased instantaneously. The bowler was about to start his runup and the sudden stoppage left the bowler annoyed. Soon after, Bumrah was seen complaining to one of the umpire, prompting the Twitterverse into multiple thoughts - one of which revolved around the pacer teaching batting to the umpires.
