‌WATCH | Santhosh Kumar’s brutal smack sends the ball into parking area

Winning the toss and electing to field first backfired for the Nellai Royal Kings initially as openers, Santhosh and Narayan Jagadeesan offered a flying start to the Super Gillies. The pair peppered the opposition bowlers early with the former switching on the attacking mode. A six that he hit inside the powerplay grabbed all the attention as the on-air commentators spotted the ball land out of the park.

The third ball of the third over saw Mohan Prasath bowl a fuller delivery around the fourth stump that Santhosh whacked over cow corner with full face of the bat. He walked a tad down to come to the pitch of the ball and the connection was so good that the white cherry swirled past the stands towards the parking area of the ground. An excited person, part of the audience was seen trying to collect the ball, and return it back to the officials.
