In cricket, a well-placed six can boost a batter's confidence, while a towering shot can captivate the crowd. Such was the scene in the game between England and Scotland where Michael Jones’ huge six off Chris Jordan travelled through the roof of the Barbados Stadium and broke a solar panel.

Scotland's decision to bat first in the match proved to be a wise one, as their opening partnership of Michel Jones and George Munsey got off to a flying start. The two openers put on a commanding 34 runs in the first five overs, immediately putting the English bowlers under pressure. Jones, in particular, looked in excellent touch, showcasing his power and skill with the bat.

As the sixth over began, Jones seized the opportunity to unleash his attacking prowess. On the second delivery, England's Chris Jordan delivered a short ball daring the young Scottish batsman to take it on. Jones confidently got on top of the bounce, unleashing a ferocious pull shot that sent the ball soaring high into the air. The sheer power and placement of the shot sailed the ball over the deep mid-wicket region and straight towards the roof of the Barbados ground. The impact of the six was so tremendous that the ball struck and shattered one of the solar panels installed on the stadium's roof. Undeterred, the ball continued its journey, bouncing out of the ground and landing in the parking lot, much to the awe and delight of the spectators.

The Twitterverse erupted in a frenzy marveling at the sheer brilliance and raw power displayed by the young Scottish opener.
