IND vs NZ | Twitter not surprised as Bumrah bowls over Seifert off first ball to return to side in style
Jasprit Bumrah and the stumps share a rare camaraderie, and it did not take him much time to renew the relationship in the third T20I against New Zealand in Guwahati on Sunday. The pacer, who was rested for the last game, returned in style, castling Tim Seifert before letting out a celebratory roar.

After being in action for the first wicket with an excellent catch, Hardik Pandya went one better in the next, dismissing new batter Rachin Ravindra. And the men in Blue put the visitors on the backfoot very early in the game, with the score reading 34/2 after five overs.
And the Kiwis were well-aware that this was with Jasprit Bumrah not even bowling a single over till then. After being rested for the previous game, Bumrah was introduced into the attack in the last over of the powerplay, and the visitors’ fears were validated.
The pacer was accurate to the dot, getting opener Tim Seifert off his very first ball of the match. His eyes showed hunger as he charged in through his run-up before pitching around good length on off-stump. Seifert, who lined up for the inswinger, was in for trouble as the ball straightened to hit the off stump, uprooting it and sending it for a cartwheel.
However, the wicket was not surprising as the pacer has uprooted many a timber, but the celebration after that was. A usually restrained pacer did not hold himself back as he punched his fist in the air before letting out a huge roar. Twitter was in awe as a charged-up Bumrah spelled more trouble for the Kiwis.
