Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has revealed that he is tired of the talk surrounding Neymar’s potential move back to Barcelona this summer. The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move back to the Camp Nou, even revealing that he would like to leave PSG before the window closes this season.

Neymar’s potential move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer has dominated the transfer window, but with less than two days left before the window slams shut, no move has materialized. Barcelona lead the race for the 27-year-old’s signature this summer, with Real Madrid and Juventus close behind the Camp Nou giants.

However, the talk surrounding the Brazilian’s on again-off again transfer have irritated Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde, with him now officially fed up about the speculation. The two worked together briefly before Neymar’s world record move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, with Valverde left behind to help Barcelona recover.

"I am very much looking forward to the end of the window, to being able to rest and for all of us to know how this ends because it is dragging on. On the subject of Neymar, I have nothing to say,” revealed Valverde to the Standard.

“He is a player who is at another team. We respect our rivals and we will see what occurs. When it ends, it will finally be over. Nine and a half, more or less," he said when asked how tired he was about the saga.
