ISL 2019-20 | Jamshedpur FC's home game against Chennaiyin FC moved to December 9
Jamshedpur FC's home game against Chennaiyin FC on December 6 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex has been moved to December 9 due to the Jharkhand State elections on December 7. Jamshedpur are comfortable at the table with 7 points while Chennaiyin are bottom of the table with just one point.
Jamshedpur FC's home game against Chennaiyin FC on December 6 has been rescheduled to December 9 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The rescheduling is done in association with the city authorities and administration considering the Jharkhand State Assembly Phase 2 Polling date on December 7. The Jharkhand State Legislative Elections are due to be held from November 30 to December 20, 2019.
Antonio Iriondo managed Jamshedpur FC are currently fourth on the table with seven points in four games. The Men of Steel's only loss came against ATK in their last fixture before the international break. They are in red hot form at the Furnace and are unbeaten.
However, John Gregory coached Chennaiyin FC are desperate for a turnaround in the ISL. The former champions are bottom of the table with just one point in four games. Moreover, the southern side is struggling to score goals in the front and are yet to score this season. Meanwhile, head coach John Gregory has hinted at his resignation after mores woe for the sinking Chennaiyin.
After the international break, Jamshedpur FC will travel to Goa on 26th November while Chennaiyin will host newcomers Hyderabad FC on the November 25.
