Tottenham ace Son Heung-min is being tracked by Italian club Juventus and Napoli as both the clubs want to add more firepower to their attack. The Old Lady have recently joined Napoli in Son’s chase and now both the clubs are prepared to go to a transfer battle ahead of the January transfer window.

According to English outlet Express, Tottenham Hotspur will face a tough time keeping their star Son Heung-min at the club with Napoli and Juventus both keen to add him in their squad. The South Korean has been an indispensable of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad that has risen in the last few years. His valuable contributions haven’t gone unnoticed and the two Italian clubs are prepared to launch offers for Son.

The 27-year-old moved to London four years ago from Bayer Leverkusen and has made 199 appearances for the North Londoners since the. Son played a major role in helping Spurs reach the Champions League final last season, scoring three-times against Manchester City in the quarter-finals. Son who is Tottenham’s current Player of the Year, has helped take much of the goal burden off the shoulders of Harry Kane. Despite the interest from Serie A clubs, Son won’t come cheap as he still has 4 years on his current contract that he signed in 2018.

Juventus are looking to add depth at the wings and see Son as a perfect option. Their attack is ageing with Gonzalo Higuain, Mario Mandzukic, Cristiano Ronaldo and Juan Cuadrado all on the wrong side of the 30. Maurizio Sarri has been left impressed by Son with his ability to play anywhere in the attack. Juve have made a habit of late of snaring top talent on free transfers, including former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey but might have to cough up huge amount of money to sign Son.

Napoli too are caught in a similar situation, with Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon are 32 and will need to be replaced in a few years. Son has previously been touted as a potential target for Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Manchester United. It is unlikely that Tottenham will give up on their prized asset but Napoli and Juventus are willing to take a chance.
