Reports | Juventus set €5.3 million asking price for Mario Mandzukic
Juventus have reportedly set a price tag for striker Mario Mandzukic and will demand around €5.3 million for the Croatian. The 33-year-old was linked with a move away during the summer window but no move materialized and could potentially leave the club with Manchester United keen on a winter move.
Juventus have revealed that they will only ask for €5.3 million for Mario Mandzukic in January, reported the Mirror, with the Old Lady looking to sell the Croatian. The former Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich striker was heavily linked with a move away in the summer, only to stay in Turin despite serious interest from Manchester United. But the Red Devils are still linked with a move for the striker as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even admitted that his side are one striker short.
The Norwegian even added that if the club needs a new forward then they will make sure they use the winter window well and bring in the right players. Yet the Mirror went on to add that whether Manchester United make a move for Mandzukic or not, the 33-year-old will leave the club. The Croatian has struggled to make an impact under new manager Maurizio Sarri and has yet to play a single minute of first-team football for the club this season.
Instead, he’s watched as Gonzalo Higuain makes a comeback into the team playing alongside Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo. Not only that Mandzukic was amongst a few names not picked up Sarri as a part of the Old Lady's Champions League squad which has intensified his links with a move away.
