Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has hinted that he won't stay at the club after his contract expires in 2022. The French international had moved to North London before the 2012/2013 season, but a move to Major League Soccer could be on the cards if he decides to leave Spurs.

The 32-year-old is one of Tottenham's main figures and a fan favorite as he's been with the club for a while now. However, it will be hard for him to finish his career there, with him saying that a move to MLS has always been a personal goal, according to Goal.

"I still have a few years ahead of me. In any case, I will do everything to make the most of it. You also have to know when to say stop at the right time, but I'm not against the idea of discovering something new. That could be the United States. I do not know, I always had trouble looking in the medium term. I am more focused on the short term," he admitted to reporters.

"In football, things go so fast. We are here tomorrow and after that, we're elsewhere. You have to be careful. I could finish over there , we'll see."

At the same time, Lloris had nothing but nice words for his current coach Mauricio Pochettino, underlining what a great job the Argentinian is doing with the Spurs.

"He's got the perfect profile [for a big club]. He could work at these great teams. Now, he's part of a project. He's shown a lot of loyalty to Tottenham. He's invested 200 per cent in the club and its supporters."
