In a game in which no team gave an inch to the other, UP Yoddha showed sublime display in both departments and emerged victorious by a margin of 38-32. For Yoddha, Nitin Tomar secured a super 10, which proved to be sufficient to get the better of Rahul Chaudhari, who secured 12 points.

After some empty raids at the start of the second half, Telugu finally got the lead at 16-14 thanks to Chaudhari who managed to get a bonus point before securing a raid point. But soon, UP Yoddha stepped up to the plate as Rajesh Narwal successfully grabbed the Titans skipper during their super tackle which helped them earn two points and the game continued to be on the even Stevens as the teams levelled the score at 20-20. Some moments later, Telugu Titans inflicted the first all-out of the game as they grabbed Nitin Tomar during his raid and the secured the lead 24-22. But the twist in the game came when UP sent Rahul out of the mat and levelled the score at 25-25 with only nine minutes of the game remaining. However, UP Yoddha’s raider successfully got one bonus and two touch points in one go and to take the lead in the game at 26-28. With less than five minutes of the game remaining, Nitin Tomar completed his super 10 touching Rohit Rana at the left corner. Soon after, Yoddha inflicted their first all-out on Telugu Titans that took the score to 36-29 in UP’s favour. Although Chaudhari also completed his super 10, that was not going to be sufficient for the Telugu Titans as UP won the game by 38-32.
