Twitter reacts as India makes a comeback to tie series 1-1
Kohli kept up his word that India will not repeat what they did in the first test as the Indian bowlers, especially Ashwin, showed up when they were needed! TheTwitterati had a field day as India staged a brilliant comeback after their batting collapse early in the day and tied the series 1-1.
After restricting India to a total of 188 in the morning, Australia looked on course before losing the plot to lose by 76 runs on Day 4 of the Bangalore Test. Cheteshwar Pujara missed out on a well-deserved century before R Ashwin scalped another 5-wicket haul as India leveled the series 1-1.
Brief scores: India 189 (KL Rahul 90; Nathan Lyon 8/50) & 274 (Cheteshwar Pujara 92, J Hazlewood 6/67) beat Australia 276 (S Marsh 66; R Jadeja 6/63) & 112 (Smith 28; Ashwin 6/41) by 75 runs.
What we needed this morning!
VVS Laxman should step out of commentary box and bat for India right now. #IndvsAus
