Yuzvendra Chahal's exceptional bowling performance (6/25) in the third and final T20I against England not only earned him both the man of the match and series awards, it also saw the leg-spinner walk into the record books as the first Indian to pick up six wickets in T20 International cricket.

In Bengaluru, England looked on course to a victory, requiring 86 runs off 42 balls with Joe Root (41) and Eoin Morgan (39) set at the crease. Chahal came up with a devastating two-over spell that saw the 26-year-old claim five wickets in just 10 balls as England's last eight wickets fell for only eight runs.

India's previous best was by Ravichandran Ashwin with figures of 4/8 against Sri Lanka in Visakhapatnam in 2016. Chahal also became only the second bowler in T20I to claim six wickets. Ajantha Mendis holds not only the best figures but also the runners-up spot. The Sri Lankan spinner has figures of 6/8 and 6/16 to his name against Zimbabwe and Australia respectively.

Rangana Herath (5/3 against New Zealand) is fourth on the list while Pakistan pacer Umer Gul closes out the top-5 with 5/6 against the same opponents.
