Wasim Akram is of the opinion that Jasprit Bumrah has an exceptional bowling action which is different from other pacers but he still gets the ball to do the talking. The former Pakistani legend also congratulated the Indian side for becoming the first Asian team to win a Test series Down Under.
Ever since his Test debut in South Africa last year, Bumrah has been constantly doing well with the ball and someone who was considered as deadly in the shorter versions of cricket has proved his worth in red-ball cricket as well. Bumrah has 49 wickets from 10 matches that he has played in Tests so far. He played a big role in the Test series win by claiming 21 wickets in the series.Â
Bumrah has 78 wickets from 44 ODIs with an impressive average 21.01 and “Sultan of Swing” Akram is of the opinion that the Gujarat pacer has the most effective yorker in world cricket now.Â

Akram praised the Indian team for winning the series and he also hailed the batting performance of Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The Pakistani great stated that Kohli has the perfect mindset and is one of the most popular cricketers in Pakistan.Â
"It's a huge achievement to win a Test series in Australia. I don't subscribe to the view that this is a weakened Australian side. Let's not take away any credit from Virat and his boys. The kind of consistency they have shown is indeed a big deal," the former Pakistani captain expressed.
