Michael Vaughan is not in the mood to miss a single opportunity to take a dig at the Indian cricket team for the way they approached the run chase against England in Birmingham on Sunday. This time, he replied to Harsha Bhogle’s tweet for the Windies team to target Virat Kohli and his men.

The Indian cricket team suffered criticism from fans and experts alike for the give-up approach against England where MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav played extremely slow in the run chase of 338. Sourav Ganguly even went as far as saying “he doesn’t have any explanation” for the way Dhoni batted and the world of Twitter left no stone unturned to call to criticise the lack of intent.

The approach was a clear contrast to way Windies went about their run chase yesterday where chasing 339, with Nicholas Pooran and Fabien Allen playing two brilliant innings, as their team fell short by 23 runs. Harsha Bhogle seemed very happy with the run chase, and took to Twitter to praise the team.

“Got to love the West Indies. Even when the target is seemingly beyond reach, they keep going for it. At the moment, they are like a guerrilla force with only a few weapons. They can win a battle here and there but don't have enough to win a war. But they keep at it,” Harsha wrote on Twitter.

However, Vaughan found this as the perfect opportunity to take a dig at India and retweeting the commentator’s tweet, he wrote, “Unlike India”.
