Indian para shuttlers put up a great show at the Peru Para-Badminton International in Lima by clinching six gold medals, including World Championship bronze medalist Sukant Kadam. The world no.3 beat Singapore's Chee Hiong Ang 21-14, 21-15 in the men's singles SL4 category on Sunday.

Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam will compete for gold in the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships, which will take place from November 1 to November 6. Five-time world champion Bhagat is the reigning singles and doubles champion after taking home the dual crowns in the 2019 competition.

Sukant Kadam, an Indian para shuttler, has risen to world no. 2 in the SL 4 category following his achievements on the international circuit. Kadam won gold medals at the Uganda Para International Tournament, the National Para-Badminton Tournament, and the Spanish Para-Badminton International II.
