Syed Modi International 2022 | PV Sindhu wins women's singles title, Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto mixed doubles champions
India badminton star PV Sindhu won the Syed Modi International 2022 after she beat Malvika Bansod, in the women's singles final in Lucknow on Sunday. Sindhu won the match 21-13, 21-16 in 35 minutes to clinch her second title at the BWF 300 event, having won it for the first time in 2017.

Syed Modi International | Lakshya Sen to skip tournament, PV Sindhu to participate
Despite the departure of numerous prominent players, the Syed Modi International 2022, the second tournament of the BWF badminton calendar's Indian leg, is set to take place. Lakshya Sen, will be absent from competition, which begins on January 18 at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow.

BWF announces 2022 calendar, India to host three tournaments in January
India is going to host three back-to-back badminton tournaments in January 2022, as per the latest calendar released by the BWF. The first tournament of the year will be the India Open from January 11 to 16, followed by the Syed Modi International tournament, and lastly, newly added Odisha Open.
