Badminton Asia Championships| PV Sindhu beats Aya Ohori to enter the quarter-finals
PV Sindhu dished out a superb performance to record a 21-14, 21-15 win over unseeded Japanese Aya Ohori in a 40-minute match to enter the quarter-finals of the tournament. However, in the men's singles, Ajay Jayaram crashed out of the tournament after losing to Hsu Jen Hao 19-21, 10-21.

Saina Nehwal reaches semis of Badminton Asia Championships
Fifth seed Saina Nehwal beat third seed Wang Shixian 21-16, 21-19 in the quarter finals of the Badminton Asia Championships in Wuhan, China on Friday to enter the semis. Saina, who is the only remaining Indian shuttler in the competition, beat the higher ranked Chinese player in a tight contest.
