Kidambi Srikanth put on a dominant display to secure his second Super Series Premier title by beating Japan's Kazumasa Sakai in straight games of 21-11, 21-19 to win the 2017 Indonesia Open title. The win capped off a fine tournament for Srikanth as he beat Jan O Jorgensen and Son Wan Ho earlier.

Kidambi Srikanth has defeated South Korean star Son Wan Ho 21-15, 14-21, 25-23 to book a spot in the final of Indonesia Open. In a closely fought game, Srikanth had to show nerves of steel as he saved a match point in the third before some quick reflexes secured the win for the Indian.

Indian shuttler HS Prannoy defeated China’s Chen Long 21-18 16-21 21-19 in a thrilling encounter to seal a berth in the semi-finals of the Indonesia Super Series Premier. Meanwhile, Srikanth Kidambi overcame Chinese Tzu Wei Weng 21-15 21-14 to cruise into the semi-finals of the tournament.
