India's HS Prannoy has crashed out of the BWF World Tour Finals after facing a three-game defeat against China's Lu GZ. The Indian lost 21-23, 21-17, 19-21 against the Chinese, after losing to Japan's Kodai Naraoka on Wednesday 11-21 21-9 17-21, hence ending the road for him in the tournament.

In the opening men's singles group A match of the BWF World Tour Finals on Wednesday, India's HS Prannoy gave it his all but lost in three games against emerging Japanese star Kodai Naraoka. Overall, the Indian played well and fought hard but lost 11-21 21-9 17-21 in an hour-long match. 

India badminton star PV Sindhu has pulled out of the upcoming BWF World Tour Finals, scheduled to be held in China from December 14, as per a report in The Hindu. World Tour Final is a tournament where the top eight players in the world battle it out on the badminton court, to emerge the best.

Star India shuttler PV Sindhu lost in the final of the women's singles to South Korea’s An Seyoung 21-16, 21-12 at the BWF World Tour Finals 2021 in Bali, Indonesia, on Sunday. This was the second time Sindhu had made it to the final of the prestigious event, having won the tournament in 2019.
