Prannoy wins Swiss Open to keep Olympic hopes alive
HS Prannoy produced an impressive performance in the final of the Swiss Open to win the crown after defeating 32-year-old German shuttler Marc Zwiebler 21-18, 21-15 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel on Sunday. The win also keeps the 23-year-old's slim hope of qualifying for the Rio Olympics alive.

Swiss Open : Prannoy advances to final; Saina crashes out
H S Prannoy entered the final of the Swiss Open ousting Tzu Wei Wang after saving three match points in a cliffhanger of an encounter today. However, Saina Nehwal, who has slumped to No. 6 in the world rankings, continued her downward trend losing to Wang Yihan of China in straight sets.

Swiss Open: Saina, Prannoy storm into semis; Sindhu crashes out
Two-time champion Saina Nehwal and H S Prannoy progressed to the semi-final of the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament on Friday after tough encounters in the quarters. However, P V Sindhu crashed out of the tournament in the quarters after losing to He Bingjiao in straight games.

Swiss Open: Birthday girl Saina, Sindhu, Prannoy through to quarters
Saina Nehwal celebrated her birthday in style with a straight-sets win, while PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy also booked their places in the quarters of the Swiss Open on Thursday. But it was H S Prannoy who produced the performance of the day, as he ousted the higher-ranked Rajiv Ouseph 21-13, 21-18.

Swiss Open: Saina, Sindhu advance to pre-quarters
Two-time champion Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu entered the pre-quarters of the Swiss Open GPG badminton tournament in Basel on Wednesday. Top seed Saina saw off Germany’s Karin Schnaase 21-7 21-15, while Sindhu beat Ireland’s Chole Magee 21-19 21-10 in the opening round of the tournament.
