India vs Australia | Prithvi Shaw will return for third Test match, reveals Ravi Shastri
Ravi Shastri has confirmed that Prithvi Shaw should recover soon and will be in contention to feature in the third Test match against Australia at the MCG in Melbourne. Shaw had suffered an unfortunate ankle injury while fielding in the warm-up game against Cricket Australia XI last week.

Indian youngster, Prithvi Shaw, enjoyed a seamless transition from the U-19 Indian team to the senior team ever since he was included in the squad for the Test series against West Indies. In the two matches that he played, Shaw amassed a total of 167 runs which included a brilliant inning of 134.
However, the youngster was ruled out of the series opener against Australia after having suffered an ankle injury in the warm-up game against Cricket Australia XI last week. India’s head coach, Ravi Shastri, revealed that Shaw’s recovery is going as planned and the 19-year old should be in contention for a spot in the matchday squad for the third Test match at the MCG in Melbourne.
"It was heartbreaking to see him go down. But the good thing is he's recovering quickly. He's already started walking. Hopefully if we can get him to run a bit by the weekend, that's really good signs. With youth on his side there might just be a case where he might recover quicker," Shastri was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.
