India vs Australia | Virat Kohli is going to be best-ever Indian captain, believes Sunil Gavaskar
Sunil Gavaskar is of the opinion that Virat Kohli will go on to become the best ever captain of the Indian cricket team in the future if he continues to perform the way he is doing at the moment. The Indian skipper has led the Indian team to an unassailable 2-1 lead in the ongoing Australia series.

Skipper Kohli had earlier opted not to enforce follow-on at the MCG in the previous game but, today, he went with that after being aware of the weather forecast for the rest of the day today and the entire fifth day of the match.
Gavaskar has opined that Kohli is a fast learner and if this continues, he can go on to become one of the finest in decision making in Indian cricket.
“As a captain, I still have my little concerns but I think now what has happened, he (Virat Kohli) is a fast learner, and we have seen that in this series. If he keeps learning, he is going to be the best-ever (captain) that India has had, in terms of results and in terms of getting the players to perform at the highest level,” Gavaskar told Sony Sports.
