India vs Australia | Dinesh Karthik happy to finish matches for Team India
Dinesh Karthik has stated that he is working hard to improve his skills as a finisher and was delighted to be able to do that yesterday. Karthik has also added that he has complete backing from the team management and it has spoken to him regarding his role in the current ODI team.
Apart from Virat Kohli’s match-winning hundred and MS Dhoni’s crucial fifty, Karthik played a major role in the run-chase in Adelaide during the second ODI. The Tamil Nadu batsman came to bat at No.6 and scored 25 off just 14 balls to see the Indians level the three-match series 1-1.
Karthik spoke about his finishing abilities and what the team wants from him during the post-match press conference on Tuesday.

The temperature at the Adelaide Oval was more than 40 degrees and the Indians had to face a lot of difficulties while fielding and bowling in the first half of the game. Karthik hailed India’s trainer Shankar Basu for keeping the players fit in testing conditions during the Australian summer.
