IPL 2022, LSG vs RR | Twitter reacts to Rajasthan Royals defeating Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs
Rajasthan Royals outplayed Lucknow Super Giants in all departments during the 63rd match of IPL 2022 as they went on to win the game and inch closer to the playoffs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star with the bat for Rajasthan Royals as he scored a crucial 41 early in the game to set the tone for RR.
Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs in match number 63 of IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. After winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson opted to bat first. Jos Buttler, the orange cap holder was dismissed early in his innings which rattled the Rajasthan Royals camp. But, Yashasvi Jaiswal took control of the innings as he smacked the Lucknow Super Giants bowlers to all parts of the ground to make sure they did well in the powerplay. The left-handed batters' innings of 41 from 29 balls helped the Royals to finish strongly. Devdutt Padikkal also batted well as he scored 38 from 19 balls which proved to be damaging for LSG.
Lucknow Super Giants did not start the chase well as they lost two wickets in the third over of the innings which put them on the backfoot. Quinton de Kock and Ayush Badoni were the batters who got dismissed by Trent Boult in that over. KL Rahul was also unable to make an impact as he was dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 10 from 19 balls.
Deepak Hooda (59 off 39)was once again the lone warrior for the LSG as he scored a fifty but it was in vain once again as his team could not cross the line. Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna and Obed McCoy took two wickets each to help their side register a very important win as they aim to qualify for the playoffs.

Top performance under pressure. Playoffs spot all but secured.
They have done it!
RR's Net Run Rate with this win will seal their spot in top four virtually, and DC winning their next two matches will be Hari Om for RCB. #IPL

Biggie!
Big win for @rajasthanroyals. Bigger in the backdrop of Buttler falling early. Both Lucknow and Rajasthan should go through #RRvsLSG

Introspection!
@klrahul Today LSG lost due to Chamira ,Mahasin and KL himself is responsible for this defeat. KL Rahul forgot to play consistent cricket.stay there in the middle score 30/40 and then play agressive cricket. worst one over by Chamira.Mahasin should not given 4over rather avesh.
