In a recent social media post, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the fixtures for the Men in Blue’s Test series against England from July-August, 2025. India will be kicking off their 2025-2027 World Test Championship away from home in English conditions.

India will be playing the first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds between 20-24th June 2025 followed by a week’s break before the second Test in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The third Test is scheduled to take place at the Lord’s, London followed by a nine days gap before the final couple of games in the five-match Test series. Eventually, the caravan will move to Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester for the fourth game scheduled for 23-27th July before the final game in the Kia Oval, Surrey from 31st July to 4th August.

India are currently sitting at the top of the WTC points table with a win percentage of 68.51 after six victories in nine matches. Meanwhile, England are positioned seventh in the table with six wins and as many losses from thirteen games. Their current win percentage reads 36.66. The Three Lions are currently facing Sri Lanka for a three-match red-ball series and are scheduled to face Pakistan and New Zealand for as many tests each in the particular cycle.

India, on the flip side, have two Tests against Bangladesh followed by three games against New Zealand at home before travelling to Australia for the infamous Border Gavaskar Trophy, their last assignment in the cycle.
