There is no such thing as a missed opportunity if one can salvage the situation and produce a remarkable result. Suryakumar Yadav exemplified this against Afghanistan in Barbados where his sweep produced a six after missing a similar shot on the previous ball, leading to some friendly banter.

‌Opting to bat first didn't bode well for the Men in Blue as Rohit was dismissed in the third over by Fazalhaq Farooqi. Rishabh Pant soon followed, falling to Rashid Khan, which brought Suryakumar Yadav to the crease. Despite the early setbacks, Yadav and Virat Kohli managed to take the Indian score to 60/2 in eight overs. By the halfway mark, the score was 79/3. However, the 11th over brought a moment of levity between Suryakumar Yadav and Rashid Khan.

On the second ball of the 11th over, Rashid bowled a precise leg break to Yadav. Attempting a sweep, Yadav missed and the ball popped up, hitting him on the body before falling near the stumps. Yadav then cheekily kicked the ball away from the stumps.

On the very next delivery, Rashid bowled an overpitched ball on the off-stump. The Mumbai Indians better moved across the crease and attempted another sweep. This time, his timing was impeccable and he launched the ball 82 meters over deep square for a six.

Following the over, a friendly banter ensued between Yadav and Rashid. Yadav was seen discussing Rashid's bowling and how he exploited the sweep shot, much to the delight of fans on Twitter.
