Kris Srikkanth, former Indian cricketer, is unhappy looking at the performances of LSG. After the loss against Mumbai Indians, he questioned the spot of Ayush Badoni in the line-up. Srikkanth talked about Badoni’s performances, as he even criticised the LSG management.

Lucknow Super Giants still struggle to regain their momentum in the Indian Premier League. With the match against Mumbai Indians, the team encountered its 7th loss of the season, putting them almost out of the playoffs race. Kris Srikkanth, a former Indian cricketer, seems unhappy with the team's performances lately.

Moreover, he expressed his concern about the performances of Ayush Badoni. He said, “Ayush Badoni can't even hit over the inner circle. Having only two shots, he has been playing five years for you. If you ask them, they'll point to his average and other numbers, which is the biggest mistake made by everyone. For such a pathetic showing, they have so many renowned names in their coaching staff.”

Srikkanth also talked about the issues with LSG management by saying, “This team has no scope for progress. Their captain and the entire team is clueless. They have a good bowling lineup but everything else is hopeless. They made Ayush Badoni open. They brought an out of form Rinku Singh back in form from 88/6. That's how poor their team and Pant's captaincy has been.”

Our Take

Kris Srikkanth has launched a sharp attack on Ayush Badoni and the entire LSG line-up, taking a look at their performances this season. Badoni has been a crucial player for the team, but he has not been able to show up for them at the same level in this season like he used to. It remains to be seen whether the support staff will be eager to make some changes in their line-up for the next game against RCB or not.
