What Went Wrong During the Toss? Rishabh Pant Incident Explained
Rishabh Pant had an awkward moment at the toss against Rajasthan Royals. While his team won the toss, he also said that Shami will be missing out on this game. Ian Bishop asked why Shami is missing out, but Pant kept on dodging the question.

The match between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants is finished but the toss of the game still remains the centre of attention. For Rajasthan, Yashasvi Jaiswal stepped out for the toss in absence of Riyan Parag. Along with that, Rishabh Pant stepped out for the toss and made the wrong call as he was sent to bat first.

Ian Bishop stood with Rishabh Pant, as he also asked about the changes in the line-up, if there are any. Pant replied by saying that Shami is out for this game. Bishop asked the reason but Pant replied by saying that Mohsin Khan comes in place of Shami. Following this, Bishop thought that Pant might not have heard the question.
So, he repeated again, asking what's the issue with Shami. And this time, Pant acted as if he was puzzled listening to the question. Instead of telling the reason why Shami was out, he replied by saying that Aiden Markram is also out due to personal reasons, and Ayush Badoni comes in his place.
Our Take
The toss incident involving Rishabh Pant and Ian Bishop has made Mohammed Shami the highlight. It is being noted that despite giving some brilliant performances in the domestic format and IPL, he was unable to make it to the Indian team for the series against Afghanistan. Along with that, Pant even answered why Aiden Markram was unavailable for the game, but he didn't respond for Mohammed Shami.
