Bhaichung Bhutia : I have been a big fan of FC Goa’s playing style this season
Former India skipper Bhaichung Bhutia has been impressed by FC Goa’s attacking style of football and stated that he has become a fan of the system. The legendary Indian striker has also added that team camaraderie and discipline have been Chennaiyin FC’s main reason for success.
Today, FC Goa - the highest scorers in the league with 42 goals - will host Chennaiyin FC in the first leg of the second semi-final of the 2018 ISL at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. The team has been playing an attacking brand of a game throughout this season and managed to enter the semi-finals although they suffered a major low in the middle of the tournament in which they lost many matches. They have managed to create many fans in the country with their aggressive style of play and Bhutia is also one among them.
"Goa had suffered a mid-season slump but eventually qualified, and in quite some style. I have been a big fan of FC Goa’s playing style this season. The team is capable of playing fluent attacking football, simple but effective. They are a team who are hard to contain and if you look at their scoring chart, you will understand it better," Bhutia wrote for TOI.

However, Chennai badly misses that individual match-winner who can in that split second of magic turn the table upside down. Sometimes, that becomes a bit too decisive," Bhutia added.
