Reports | Bruno Fernandes offered to Real Madrid
Sporting CP star Bruno Fernandes has been offered to Real Madrid, as the Portuguese club are looking to offload the attacking midfielder while his market value still very high. After refusing offers from Tottenham and Manchester United, the Liga Nos giants have offered the player to Real Madrid.
According to AS, Liga Nos side Sporting CP are looking for a buyer that can meet the club's demands for Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese club set the price at €70 million and informed Real Madrid that the player is available in the market for that value. The Liga Nos giants are counting on Jorge Mendes to reach an agreement with Real Madrid, so that they can offload Fernandes this summer.
The 25-year-old midfielder was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, as Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United were keen on the Portuguese international. However, Sporting CP refused a €60 million offer from Tottenham on deadline day, which meant that Fernandes wouldn't get his move to England atleast this summer.
But with the transfer window deadline for La Liga clubs on September 2, reports add that Sporting CP are keen on offloading him to Spain, but they will need time to look for new players that can replace such an important part of the team. Bruno Fernandes broke the record for most goals scored by a midfielder in one season and has the approval of Zidane, as he is still looking for a midfielder.
